President's Message

The State Finance Service is a state cadre service that came into existence in the erstwhile Madhya Pradesh state in 1965 as the Madhya Pradesh Accounts Service. This service was established with the broad objectives of carrying out crucial functions of public administration, such as mobilizing internal resources, managing state finances, exercising budgetary control, providing financial advice, administering treasuries, maintaining public accounts, and conducting internal audits, among others. Later, the name of this service was changed to Madhya Pradesh Finance and Accounts Services. In the state of Chhattisgarh, the service was renamed as the State Finance Service in the year 2013 Recruitment for this cadre is conducted 50% through the State Public Service Commission and 50% through promotions from subordinate accounts services. The salary structure of this service is on par with other top services of the state government.

From an initial cadre strength of 104 at the time of the state's formation, gradually increasing to the present strength of 388, the members of this service have bravely faced challenges through efficient strategic planning in every sector and have contributed significantly to the government's key achievements in various fields.

We are confident that the members of this service will continue to bring pride to the department with their loyalty and dedication, in line with the role defined by the state government. To address service-related anomalies from time to time and to safeguard the interests of its members, the Chhattisgarh State Finance Service Officers' Association was formed in 2003. Since then, the association has been working continuously for the betterment of its members. The current managing committee was formed in September 2024.

This website is an effort to showcase the association's activities, provide useful information related to service upgradation and enhancement, and highlight the achievements of service members. I am grateful to all my team members, without whom the launch of this website would never have been possible. I hope all service members find it useful.

अध्यक्ष का संदेश

राज्य वित्त सेवा एक राज्य संवर्ग सेवा है जो तत्कालीन मध्य प्रदेश राज्य में वर्ष 1965 में मध्य प्रदेश लेखा सेवा के रूप में अस्तित्व में आई थी। इस सेवा का गठन सार्वजनिक प्रशासन के महत्वपूर्ण कार्यों जैसे आंतरिक संसाधन जुटाना, राज्य वित्तीय प्रबंधन, बजटीय नियंत्रण, वित्तीय सलाह प्रदान करना, कोषागार प्रशासन, सार्वजनिक खातों को बनाए रखना और आंतरिक लेखा परीक्षा आयोजित करना आदि के व्यापक उद्देश्यों के साथ किया गया था। बाद में इस सेवा का नाम बदलकर मध्य प्रदेश वित्त और लेखा सेवाएं कर दिया गया। छत्तीसगढ़ राज्य में इस सेवा का नाम वर्ष 2013 में राज्य वित्त सेवा रखा गया। इस संवर्ग की भर्ती 50% राज्य लोक सेवा आयोग के माध्यम से और 50% अधीनस्थ लेखा सेवाओं से पदोन्नति के माध्यम से होती है। इस सेवा की वेतन संरचना अन्य राज्य सरकार की शीर्ष सेवाओं के समान है। राज्य निर्माण के समय 104 से धीरे-धीरे बढ़ती हुई कैडर शक्ति के साथ वर्तमान में 388 की ताकत के साथ, इस सेवा के सदस्यों ने हर क्षेत्र में कुशल रणनीतिक योजना के माध्यम से चुनौतियों का बहादुरी से सामना किया है और कई क्षेत्रों में शासन की महत्वपूर्ण उपलब्धियों में योगदान दिया है।

हमें विश्वास है कि इस सेवा के सदस्य राज्य शासन द्वारा निर्धारित भूमिका के अनुरूप अपनी निष्ठा एवं कर्तव्यनिष्ठा से विभाग को गौरवान्वित करते रहेंगे। सेवा संबंधी विसंगतियों को समय-समय पर शासन के संज्ञान में लाने तथा सदस्यों के हितों की रक्षा के लिए वर्ष 2003 में छत्तीसगढ़ राज्य वित्त सेवा अधिकारी संघ का गठन किया गया था। तब से यह संघ अपने सदस्यों की बेहतरी के लिए निरंतर कार्य कर रहा है। वर्तमान प्रबंध समिति का गठन सितम्बर 2024 में किया गया है। यह वेबसाइट संघ की गतिविधियों, सेवा उन्नयन एवं संवर्द्धन से संबंधित कुछ उपयोगी जानकारी तथा सेवा सदस्यों की उपलब्धियों को प्रदर्शित करने का एक प्रयास है। मैं अपने सभी टीम सदस्यों का आभारी हूँ जिनके बिना इस वेबसाइट का शुभारंभ कभी संभव नहीं हो पाता। मुझे आशा है कि सभी सेवा सदस्यों को यह उपयोगी लगेगी।
